“CID Highlight” – Jerk Chicken: CID Rating 5 out of 5
A $5 plate worth… is not enough but we wanted to play it safe since it was our first time at this “hot spot” (see picture below). The crispy and slightly charred skin was tasty even for those that are a little skeptical about chicken skin and fat. Fresh out of the oven, with a douse of bbq sauce, the meat was ever so flavorful, juicy and tender. If I ever find myself east of Prospect Park, I will definitely return to Peppa’s for some Jamaican Jerk Chicken and maybe try the Oxtail Stew next time! (more…)
