Recommendations: If you go, go early if not at all! It’s not worth coming if you’re a true fine chocolate-lover.

Milk Chocolate cream layered with toffee bananas and white chocolate chunks, topped with whipped cream. Served with crunchy wafer balls and a biscotti on the side ringing in at $9.75. If you like bananas, then this dish is for you. It was a little hard to eat considering the small spout for the jar. But nothing a small coffee spoon can’t handle. The fresh bananas mixed in with the gooey milk chocolate cream hit two spots.

Crabcake

The highlight of our brunch. The crabmeat was plentiful and fresh. The pretzel crust was a crunchy surprise. The sweet and tangy sauces added a new spin to what is usually a heavy cream sauce that is paired with crabcakes. It was refreshing and a good portion-size.

I’ve been patiently waiting for the right time to try Eleven Madison. When better than during Restaurant Week? We went for lunch enduring the harsh winds of another cold winter’s day. Maybe it was the day, the hour, my mood but something didn’t feel right. I’ve been known to be a little picky when it comes to where I dine especially nowadays when I’m completely in debt and cannot afford to pay top dollar for low grade, impersonating food.
