“CID Highlight” – Meet the Chefs: CID Rating 5 out of 5
I call them the three amigos. Not only were they making delicious food but they were having fun while doing so. I definitely recommend sitting chef-side! Don’t run Morimoto, I’m your biggest fan!!!
Decor and Ambiance: CID Rating 4 out of 5
I love the ambiance. You know the place is packed but all you hear is a low hum. The all white decor is calming and leaves you in an almost meditative state especially after you’ve taken a bite out of the heavenly sashimi.
The Variety of Fresh Fish: CID Rating 5 out of 5
Salad & Miso Meet Cocktail: CID Rating 4 out of 5
Braised Black Cod: CID Rating 4 out of 5
Braised to perfection unlike other places that turn their ingredients into mush. The cod maintained its texture while bursting with a miso-soy flavor with every bite.
Chef Morimoto’s Sushi Selection: CID Rating 5 out of 5
Delightful. Heavenly. Cannot miss this lifetime!
Tofu Cheesecake: CID Rating 5 out of 5
For those that have their doubts, you can’t miss this dish. The tofu cheesecake was creamy but not heavy. It had all of the pleasures and none of the guilt from devouring regular cheesecake. I love playing with my food and this dish gave me the opportunity with the three pairings Lime Zest, Candied Ginger, and Maple Syrup.

that looks like a fantastic experience! you actually saw morimoto! i would love to be there with the 3 amigos
Great post! I’ve gone to try the tofu cheesecake but they took it off the menu! They have other tofu desserts but none that compares to Kyotofu and their sesame tofu dessert! Have you been?
